THORNWELL HOME FOR CHILDREN - Open House & Luminary Tour 12/01/12

You are invited to visit Thornwell Home for Children in Clinton, SC this Saturday, December 1st. Thornwell’s Mayes-Dowdle Alumni Office and Museum will be open to the public throughout the day, featuring over 200 nativities (really!). And to cap off the evening, Thornwell Home for Children is hosting a luminary tour called “A Walk of Faith” between 5 and 7 pm.

Lake Murray Presbyterian Church supports Thornwell in many ways, through monetary donations, the Justin Pepper Toy Drive, Presbyterian Women’s groups and in-kind giving. This is your chance to visit Thornwell and learn more about their rich heritage and life on campus for the children who call Thornwell “home.” Admission to “A Walk of Faith” is free and the tour begins at the Home of Peace just inside the main entrance.
