Sunday is "Souper Bowl of Caring"

The number of Americans living in poverty is the highest that it has been in 52 years. One in seven households (affecting 16 million children) are food insecure. This weekend, youth groups around the Midlands area churches will lead a national fight against hunger, with Sunday's 23rd annual Souper Bowl of Caring.

Bring a can of food and a dollar to LMPC worship Sunday. One hundred percent of what you give will go toward We Care in Chapin.

See the article in today's issue of The State newspaper for five things to know about Souper Bowl of Caring or visit their website at www.souperbowl.org.
