GOoD Works: In Memory of Sue Richey Madden

Sue Richey Madden of Chapin, affectionately known to many as Muzzy, was called home to be with Our Lord on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Born in Piedmont, SC, May 21, 1952, she grew up in the Thornwell Children's Home in Clinton, SC. Those who had the good fortune of knowing Sue know what a special person she was to so many. Sue dedicated her life to loving and serving the Lord and that was apparent in all that she did. She was an active member of the Chapin community, especially at Lake Murray Presbyterian Church. Sue served as the Executive Director of GOoD Works, a non-profit dedicated to helping others in Chapin and the surrounding areas. Whether she was organizing a donation drive for the people of Chapin or giving the blessing at a friend's wedding, her pleasant smile and kind heart were always a welcome presence.

Memorials may be made in Sue's memory to GOoD Works, PO Box 266, Chapin, SC  29036

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do"  Ephesians 2:10
