KATIE'S KROPS: Empowering kids to end hunger

Starting October 9th, Bi-Lo and Dole are supporting Katie's Krops' efforts to empower kids to end hunger, one vegetable garden at a time. For the next two-weeks, everytime you purchase three pounds, or more, of Dole Bananas at Bi-Lo store, a donation will be made to Katie's Krops. This promotion will run until October 22nd. 

Katie's Krops has over 60 youth run gardens growing, from Maine to Hawaii, and has donated tens of thousands of pounds of fresh produce to organizations that help people in need.  The mission of Katie's Krops is to start and maintain vegetable gardens of all sizes and donate the harvest to help feed people in need, as well as to assist and inspire others to do the same.
